Forums - PC - Atlantica Online

I've only played it for a couple of hours so far because of a recommendation from my friend, but I'm enjoying it so far. It's an MMORPG, but unlike many others, the fighting is turn-based. The turns have timers, but it's still not directly action based and you have a main character and can hire mercenaries, so you control muktiple people in the battles. It's also a free to play game, so if anyone wants to try it, all you'll probably lose is some time.

If you'd like to learn more about it, here is the wikipedia article about it, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantica_Online and the company's site, http://atlantica.ndoorsgames.com/center/default.asp. It could be cool to get a forum guild going if enough people find the game interesting. Also there is some sort of referrer program, so if anyone wants to put me down for that, it'd be much appreciated. Character name DeltaXIII (For adding as an in-game friend and/or as a referrer). I look forward to hearing other people's thoughts on it.

Around the Network

I looked up some videos of it, and it seems interesting. I don't really have time for an MMO right now though, so I will pass for now.

edit: I noticed from the world map on the website that it is based off Earth.(mostly the "old world"). So how well is it scaled in comparison? Like how long would it take you to go from Japan to England. I hope at least a few hours.

been playing this game since beta, absolutely loving it level 70 now on the first server.

the turn based fighting is a breath of fresh air :)

Oh yeah, I choose the first server, Mycenae. Is that the first one for you too? What's your character's name?
