Maybe not the best environment graphics sometimes, but as far as the character models are concerned, I'm giving this a landslide over Gears 2 xD It deserved the reward in full :P
From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

MGS4 won as it should have. The scores in all 4 MGS games are terrific, and all of the best songs are in MGS4 via the ipod.
Also, music games should not be elligible for best sound tracks. They aren't the Grammy Awards.

Hmm? I'm a big fan of the MGS series. I consider MGS3 a masterpiece. I also think that MGS4 should not have won best original score.

Indeed. And "sequenced" orchestral music isn't that impressive, you know. Twilight Princess had it, Gears of War had it, or heck, even the first Metal Gear Solid game had it! I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because it's actually the best thing that could happen to video game music, but it's nothing incredible nowadays.
And yes, there are some music in Brawl that made you pump up, especially the Corneria theme.
So, as much as I tried to love the MGS4 soundtrack, without the MGS2 Theme, it was just not worth it (I still cry about it! :( )! Old Snake is a very good song though, and probably the second best after Metal Gear Saga.
In my opinion, Red Alert 3 should have won best original soundtrack! Hell March 3 is GODLY! Or even Bionic Commando Rearmed. Simon Viklund = teh awesome!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
