Yep indeed, Okami is a very well example of that. I have both the PS2 and Wii versions but when it comes to controls and visuals Wii version is the better one by far.

Not owning any of the previous gen consoles, this is good news for me, since they are moreorless new games
Definately Getting MEtroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2, with Wii controlls those games will be even more Epic.
Phantom Brave is also interesting since i really like SRPG's

I'm not worried that the remakes are slowing down development of pikmin 3 but rather they are slowing down the release. After Pikmin Remake comes out Nintendo would have to wait a while before releasing Pikmin 2 Remake. Then wait a while after that before releasing Pikmin 3. I think if not for the remakes we would see Pikmin 3 much sooner than we are going to see it (whenever that is).

BTW Dead Rising Wii isn't really a port. To me seems that Capcom needed a quick RE4Wii reskin seen as good has sold on Wii.

Pikmin is already releasing in February in the US, Pikmin 2 probably right after that. They're not even finished with Pikmin 3. So will it delay with a month or two, give other people also a chance to play the game, plus personally, who has both Cube versions, am really looking forward to the Wii versions and their controls.

Yep, Nintendo announced at the past Fall Conference their Wii-make serie.
The games to have a wii-make will be :
Donkey Kong JB, Pikmin1&2, Metroid Prime 1&2, Mario Tennis and Chibi Robo.
They will sell for a budget price and will have new features, new contents, new control scheme.

I knew about Mario Tennis, Donkey Kong JB and Pikmin, but the others were a total surprise to me.
