Well I have already said that I am going to download it just to complete my collection and have final fantasy 7,8, and 9 on my psp.  But since they decided to release it during e3 I might wait until after sony's conference is over to see what else they announce is coming to psn.  If some new interesting titles get announced ff9 may get pushed to the back for a little while.

That's a good list and it's balanced with a game from every platform.  I still need to get a Wii and Ds myself hopefully one day I can get on your level lol

I usually make my top lists with the best games from each console's gen. Unless some gen is heavily tilted towards one side, which fortunately hasn't happened this gen.

If anything, this has been one of the best overall generation of gaming so far. It's a shame that console jrpg's have had fewer representation, but games like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon make up for quality what has been lacking in quantity

Yeah every console has multiple must have games this gen that are too good to ignore.  Those two Mistwalker games you listed are great.  I have always told myself that I am going to get a wii the day the Last Story or the new Zelda comes out whichever happens first.

I think Zelda Wii has the highest probability of coming out first, at least in the west. Either way, both are going to be amazing games

Yeah I agree on both accounts and I can't wait until e3 kicks off tomorrow.  Hopefully Microsoft will announce some new quality jrpgs that are coming.  They have surprised me this gen with the amount of jrpgs they have gotten.  It's the reason why I prefer the 360 slightly over my ps3 this gen so far.

I hope all three companies show off some jrpg's since most of the companies are talking about focusing on the west hopefully that means we won't have to wait until the tokyo game show anymore for jrpgs to get some attention.

Well, for me at least, this is going to be the best E3 of all time, mainly because S-E is going to show Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals (remake of my favourite game of all time, Lufia 2), and Parasite Eve: 3rd Birthday (Continuation of the Parasite Eve series, with the first PE being my second favourite game of all time ). 

Not only are they showing both of them, DQIX and KH:BBS are going to be there as well. Not sure about FFVXIII, I think that's reserved for TGS. 

I hope that we get to see more of Last Story and Xenoblade as well too

Yeah I loved the original parasite eve.  It was one of my favorite games on the original playstation so the the 3rd birthday is a day 1 buy for me.  I never played the second one though so I may have to play it first if the 3rd birthday picks up directly after the second game or at the very least wiki or youtube it to find out what happened.  I am also looking forward to hearing about square enix's unannounced games I hope the rumors about a new valkyrie profile and a breath of fire hd remake turn out to be true.

Parasite Eve: 3rd Birthday happens almost 8 years after the events of PE2. It takes a lot from the story from PE2, but it goes back to the original settting, manhattan  

If there's a new Eve...Ahhhh, can't wait for S-E showing

Didn't knew about about the Valkyrie Profile and BoF HD remake rumours. Although BoF II is my favorite, BoF was amazing as well. Same for Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile II

Well actually the rumor was that there would be a sequel to Valkyrie Profile so VP 3 and their would be a joint effort from capcom and square enix to make a breath of file compilation disk with hd remakes of 1 and 2 if my memory is correct.  But it came from some small video game website and you know some of those will write anything just for hits but I hope they are right in this instance.  There is a forum on this site dedicated to that particular rumor if you searched for it I'm sure you could find it.

Also did you ever play Parasite Eve 2 I heard it was different and wasn't as good as the original is that true in your opinion?
