Just because you think it looks good does not mean it is known for graphics, this is false.

It is not false to me because it's my opinion based on actually owning all 3 game series that I am comparing.  Thanks for your (lack of) input, though.

People keep lumping games into "hardcore" and "casual" groups, why not look at it from other angles?

Take a look at what games sell on the HD consoles (the 360 especially). You'll notice that unrealistic Japanese games haven't really proven they can sell (far less than core Wii games anyway). All of the best selling games put heavy stress on realism. Take a look at the best selling RPG - Lost Odyssey. Not a surprise, as its art style is perfectly fit for the western audience. Compare its sales to Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, Valkyria Chronicles, etc.

Now, look at the games that feature cartoony characters, or take the stylish route - they don't tend to sell nearly as well. The million sellers are Viva Pinata (bundled), Ratchet & Clank, Lego Indy/Kung Fu Panda (bundled), LBP, and Lego Star Wars. Note these are all western games, the Japanese games sell far less. The Wii is pretty much the opposite of this. For example, Sonic games sell best on the Wii, outpacing both HD consoles combined.

So, for anyone that's using the "core games aren't proven Wii argument," there's also a "cartoony/stylish, unrealistic games aren't proven on HD consoles" one.

Btw, America is KH's strongest region by far, seeing over 55% of sales there. This alone means making KH3 exclusive for the PS3 would be an extremely foolish move.

FF and KH are known for graphics (as well as everything else), so they will be on the HD consoles. Not to mention that Nakumura, if that's the right name, is currently working on FF13 Versus on PS3, and that's the same type of game. Why would they not use that engine to make KH3? Not to mention that they are now porting FF13 to 360, so it would also make sense to port KH3 to 360..."

Now, using these two pieces of information we can correctly affirm that you are speaking on behalf of the general public and that they think Kingdom Hearts is known for its graphics.

Again, just because you think it is true doesnt mean it is. If you would like to express your opinion that way please do so properly.

I quoted several publications above that praise the graphics. it's KNOWN to have great looking cutscenes. Great looking cutscenes are rarely paired with average looking graphics unless it's a remake like Lunar or something. It is my opinion that it depends more on graphics than DQ, even if not as much as FF. If some of you want to disagree, fine. It seemed a rather known quality to me, but apparently some of you think it looks ugly.

Regardless, that's not even my top reason that I've said for years that I think it'll be on at least 1 HD console and not on the Wii., while DQ would be.

That was a different situation because the PS2 had the huge majority of the market share.  Nearly every third party game went on the PS2.  The Wii has less than 50% market share and the majority of highly rated third party games are on the HD consoles (especially the last several months).

If the game is on the Wii, I'll have to rebuy (if I do sell) my Wii to play it.  I love the franchise.  I just think it'll be on the HD consoles, and I think it would be better for it.  I would rather it have higher production values than different controls.

The Wii's Market share is 48.6 and rising very quickly - It will hit 50% in a few months time and continue to rise.

By the time KH3 is released, pretty much all mainstream third party games will be going the way of DQX

Eh, I disagree. Developers aren't going to scrap their tech for HD consoles now that they already have it. Kinda like they shouldn't scrap their FF13: Versus action-rpg tech made by the same guy that made KH1 and KH2...*sigh*

Btw, software continues to sell very well on HD consoles, especially third parties. Nothing is going to change. Madden isn't suddenly going to sell better on the Wii.

I've said this many times, but this generation is unlike any other.
