Forums - Gaming - Recommend the game above you (or not)

I am looking for some ideas for some games I could buy, so I thought of this.  The person above you names a game and describes why he/she likes it.  You agree or disagree (please give a reason) and then recommend your own game.  If more than one person reacts to the same post, just go off the first one to reply.  Also, if you recommend a game, and someone else disagrees, don't argue with him, just move onto the next game.  Lastly, only respond to the game above you if you have actually played the game for a couple of hours at least.

To start:

King's Field II (PSone, also known as King's Field III)

KF is a western RPG along the same lines of Morrowind; even though it was far more linear, the entire game was one large world you could walk thru without loading screens.  The best aspect of this game is the environment, It catches that menacing feel that a lot of games lack other than Simon's Quest.  As combat goes, a lot of people describe it as strafe-tastic.  Basicall you want to strafe until you are behind the enemy and start attacking.  This may sound like a bad thing, but it has a lot more strategy to it than a lot of action RPG's back then.  It really gets difficult if you are facing multiple enemies and/or confined spaces.  The magic helps mix it up too.  Just about the only thing I can complain about is how slow the character moves, but that is a result of balancing combat so you can't move too fast.
