Forums - Gaming Discussion - How much are you paying per hour of fun?

all this comes down one thing, i need to play more :S i think
@Comrade Tovya
You play a lot
@nordlead
the 3 hour per week is a good average but i dont play like that, i play several months for lots of hours a week and then dont play for the rest of the year, because of one of 2 reasons, 1) this question is only for consoles so the pc is out and i use my pc a lot, 2) i have a lot of fun creating project sometimes hardware and others software, and a project can satisfy my entertainment needs for months. Most fun projects i have don't until now were an RC car with analog speed and different gear, and a radio frequency monitor that identifies a song from a given radio station like track id, that last one didn't come out very good because i couldnt find any info on how to do it, so it only worked like 20% of the time.

Zero. I don't pay for "fun", I pay for mental and artistic stimulation.

When did you get your X360 Tovya?

Around the Network

I bought my PS2 from a friend, at the price of aroun $100. It included 16 games, 4 controllers and 2 memory cards. I sold most of the games, and made around $160. I then bought Guitar Hero 2 with the money I gained. I also share custody of a copy of Guitar Hero + Guitar with another friend.

I feel terribly guilty about this. But I basically got a PS2 with 6 games for free... Doesn't cost less than that.

I usually play only games you can play 'forever'. Dominions 3 and Europa 1400: The Guild are nice examples. Damn, I want to play Europa 1400: The Guild. See what you did. :/

Dec '05

Wow, and now that I think about it, I think I undershot my hours estimate... I was previously only factoring in two years of play, but I forget, it's '08, so I'm closer to 3 years then.
