PSUNews: "MCV reports that both Square and Warner Bros are currently putting bids in place in hopes of acquiring ailing British publisher, Eidos.
MCV seems to think that Warner will win due to its financial position, but it is surprising to see Square coming in late, although the company previously stated it would be looking at ways to boost its Western team.
“I think Warners will still win, but it’s very interesting that Square have expressed this late interest. They are clearly looking for Western talent,” a source said.
Ubisoft and Electronic Arts were also reported to have been interested in Eidos this week.
