This article is actually a few months old, but I never saw a thread about it and can't find one through the search. Since it is now actually near the end of the year (this list is really intended to be FY 08, so it comprises 4/07-3/08), I thought it would be appropriate.

The list is calculated using the most important metrics: Revenue, Net or Gross Income, 3 year performance studies, and expected fiscal growth.

There's a lot of really good data in here, and worth reading. For those who are too anxious, the top 20 is as follows:

Im surprised Midway even made the list with all the troubles theyve been having, but maybe they were having better times last year.

I know something is fishy with this list if Konami is sitting above Ubisoft.

They thought Metal Gear was going to be bigger than it ended up being, I would assume.

Yeah, this is an objective list. No picking favorites when you're looking at hard numbers.

Sony (and EA, who also lost oodles, among a few others) is there because this considers Revenue as well. It's a combination of factors. Sony is still falling flat on their face in terms of Profit, but they are enormous in terms of Revenue.
