Yeah, I couldn't think of a good title, but I want this thread to track a rather unique new sales trend in Wii games. Games that open to sales so small you'd think they're supposed to launch next week, and then slowly climb. This isn't a Wii games have legs thread or Look how awesome this game will actually sell thread. This isn't about trying to prove anything, it's to keep an update on a rather interesting sales trend. I'm going to be looking at the weekly sales for a bunch of games that are seeing a slow burning increase in games sales to see where they go. Do they eventually sell well? who knows. Ok, I'll be working on this one as I go. For now, throw me some suggestions of games that are seeing piss poor openings followed by great to slightly less piss poor sales. I figure we should stick to titles that open at around or under 10,000 sales. Monster Lab - here's a good slow burner. Will this trend continue? And with weekly's so small, would it even matter if it did? America Week 1 - 2,144 Week 2 - 1,804 Week 3 - 3,294 Week 4 - 6,923
Namco Museum Remix - A great example. A game that didn't see double digits until week 5. Week 58 just moved 29,089 for Sales of 451,497.
Nerf N-Strike - now this is going to be a beast. Probably the biggest hitter to open in the basement. Can it hold though?
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection - now I saw this one in another thread, and obviously these helpful graphs only go up to week 10, but now in it's 41st week it sold 17,056 units and is at 214,981
Sim City Creator - Japan sales are seperate but poop anyways. but NA sales went from surprisingly solid to holiday-tastic
