Forums - Gaming - Why does Killzone 2 matter?

I can't care less about anticipation..... I'm like st Thomas I believe what I see... and what I see with KZ 2 is not on the top right.... it doesn't mean it won't but right now it's not.... like some people try to make us believe...
for instance GTA 4 is not on your list and it probably is going sell more than some on it....
anticipation is also created by the hip of a product... and hip doesn't improve the quality of the game it just make it go up in that kind of list....

i'm just saying before saying a game is awesome, the best killer app out there, we should wait to see really what it's all about.... and that stands for any game on any console... Halo 3 is in the same situation.... so I don't think I'm biased.... Halo 3 still has to prove itself to me.... even though i'm pretty confident about gameplay and AI quality.... I still want to see it to really draw a conclusion... now about KZ 2 we've seen so little I4m not even starting to make one...

Bleeding to death on the ground seems interesting.

Wii is winning, becuase of mario, price, and controller.

Well I am not a FPS fan, not at all actualy so most probarbly I should shut the ---- up, but I just have to ask one question:

What in "Bleeding to death on the ground" seems interesting in a game? I don't get it, I really don't.

EDIT:

Wii is winning because of Wii Sport and Zelda just now, I can't say that I see Mario doing much just now.

well it add some realism to the game... I mean that's true that too many games you empty a clip on a guy and he is still running at you and if you stop shooting him he'll be running at you for ever.... it's like sports game.... why is it interesting to have fans in the stands ?? it doesn't change anything to the gameplay... it just participate to general atmosphere of the game and you feel more into it...
and over all FPS are violent... so it's the spirit of the game... how many people were getting off on the chainsaw in GOW.... it's just freaking awesome to slash your friends on a game and make fun of them for half an hour after that... i

still doesn't see the point...I can get that people slow down when you shoot them or whatever but I mean are you saying that no game before had something similar? Damn fps most be behind every other genré out there.

oh I didn't get your question then.... you meant how is it an innovation in FPS ???
well it's not really but it's not usual either... I think goldeneye on N64 had something like that already....

ok thanks, seems like the story is what Killzone2 needs then because I can't see that is adds much to an working formular. Of course you should never change something that is working.
