But it wasn't MS's secret to keep, it was SE's. 

SE as we do know is pretty good at keeping things secret.

 DMJ, do you think it would be a good secret if MS would have let it leaked? Both, MS and SE, did a good job with this one. You can't deny it.

If Mass Effect 2 remains exsclusive I think it will be pushed VERY hard by microsoft as a key franchise, however since the game is published by EA like the first....well we all know how EA feels about going multi-plat, right now i don't see any titles currently announced that can stand toe to toe with Sony if titles like God of War III and GT5 do indeed make it out in 2009

Halo Wars or an unannounced title (unless A. Wake really shows something shocking soon). I bet there will be a really special downloadable gem too, as xbla is really starting to come into its own.

how many studios does MS have?

The only game that my friends have talked about is Halo: Recon (or whatever it's called now).

Perfect Dark sequel would be a pretty big announcement. Then they can have 3 year cycles for fps/tps development and game releases. too bad i'm not much into shooters.

to be honest i still don't know what to make out of A. Wake...since so little has been shown I haven't quite made up my mind whether this will be a headlining title for Microsoft or more of a niche title...like i said though its so early the game could go either way

Forza sold 4.15 million. That is more than every other game on the PS3, except for GTA IV.

The games I mentioned should state that there are great games coming and most of them will sell great. We just got to wait and see which HUGE game is coming. And Ubisoft stated that Splinter Cell is coming 09 exclusively on Xbox360.

Assassins Creed 2 was just an example that MS might buy such a big franchise if they don't got a big first party game in development.

 



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

And how much of Forza's 4.15 million sales were bundled? Well over 2 million If my calculations are correct. Bundled with every Arcade, Pro, and Elite 360 last year might have helped sales a teeny bit, dontcha think?
