Is the Game of the Year edition worth the extra price?  I know that you get extra content but i'm going through the 360's back catologue for cheaper games right now. Thanks for any input.

It's been awhile since I last checked this place out -look at that Wii go.

Well do you have Oblivion already?  How much is the price?  Anyway I love Oblivion and if you love it so much like I do and end up playing this game for hundred of hourse you never going to have the feeling you paid to much;

If I am right the GOTY edition comes with the Knights of the nine expansion that adds a few hours of gameplay and the Shivering Isles expansion that is really worth it and my favourite part of Oblivion (Easily adds 20-40 hours of gameplay).

The best deal you can do is to rent the GoTY version and buy a copy of the original. The GoTY version downloads shivering isles into your harddrive or just borrow your friends shivering isles disk from their GoTY.

If you want to be even stingier you could buy a used copy of the GoTY edition and return it after you install and just say you didn't like the game.

If the GOTY version is above $50, then no...I don't think it's worth it.

Shivering Isles is great, but I don't think that - over a year since it launched - that it's worth an extra $20-30 on top of the normal non-SI Oblivion costs.

Well I don't have the original.
So the GOTY version has another disk that has the extra content(shivering isles etc).
I was looking on Amazon the price is around $40 US used or 60 new.
Or the originals 25-30. Anyway I think i'll just get the original as I don't know how much time I'll really put into it or can.
