I would say soul calibur IV but that's mainly because I can't stand to see what they've done to the mk series

MK vs DC has the better story mode. Soul Calibur 4 has one of the worst story modes of all time for a fighter. Online sucks for both, both have cheap characters. I would go with MK vs DC.
