Forums - Gaming - Differences in songs on music games

I'm not talking about covers, but this thread is to discuss the audial differences in the music game versus the original, and possible explanations...

For example, I know that "Dream On" in GH:A is a re-recording, which is fine and all, but why did Steve Tyler change the part where it traditionally says "All of the things ya dooo, come back to youuu...", to "All of the things ya doo, come back to..."?

I have another perfectly good example... In Rock Band 2, doesn't is seem like "One Step Closer" by Linkin Park is sped up? any reason why? It seems faster than the original... at least in the videos on youtube...
