I don't really think Apple cares

They will continue improving gaming experience on iphone/ipods as supplementary function, but nothing bigger than this

I think this is what should happen... next generation we should have 4 console manufactures, 2 types

Cheap, Simple console (Nintendo/Apple)

Expensive, Advance console (Microsoft/Sony)

Simple as that
