colonelstubbs said: Right, im back, ive been playing the 360 since my first post....a lot of posts here have made me chuckle, and frown.
Firstly, to Leo-j, i had a 40g PS3, no BC. So i dont miss out on ps2 games as i couldnt play them anyway.
Secondly, thanks for all the games recommedations everyone. Im thinking gears 2 and dead space are next.
To Twesterm, il look into the hard drive.
Kowenicki, i see your banned, hopefully not for a post in this thread
Others, im a poor student, and to be honest, the reason i bought my ps3 was for mgs4. Ive completed it, and looking to next year, ive never been a god of war or gran turismo fan, and killzone 2 is still a question mark, lets face it.
The 360 library has a lot of games i want to experience, and i thought i would start again with the 360, and enjoy some old classics, as well as the likes of gears 2 and halo wars, games i really want to play.
My only question to everyone concerns XBL. Was an arcade an unwise move if i want to play online (which i do obviously, after enjoying PSN and hearing nothing but glowing stuff about XBL)
Thanks for all the responses |
You can play online with just the Arcade. Take up the $20 deal for the 20 GB harddrive though. It's worth the extra space.
I'm Daddy Keil on Live, so when you get Gears 2 we can hit up some co-op campaign if you want. Unfortunately I don't have Halo 3 or Gears 1 anymore, so no go there.
To leo-j, unless you have a post you can send proving colonel ever said he had a 60 GB, I suggest you no longer show up in this thread. Your misinformation derailed the entire post, and I'm this close to just banning you for it.

Id like to point out, i DID own a 60g PS3 first, but swapped it for a 40g in....june i believe, something i did put in a post on here. So i dont know if leo-j is referring to a post from when i joined the site (and owned a 60g) and was banned or something when i swapped it in, or just assumed i have one for some reason, but i did own one so i guess he can have the benefit of the doubt, from my side anyway....
I'll deffo get a harddrive, it seems a good thing to do, if they are $20 in the states they must be cheaper here in the UK
