hate to bust ur 360 bubble, but either there is a crapload of supply or they are not selling like crazy... The are huge piles of them in my local Sears, Best Buy, TRU, and Gamestop(that had stack sitting on the desk)

 phail...

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

What a turnaround especially at this time of the year.

Sometimes lady luck happens and it looks like MS are getting a bit of it after a so so year.

These 2 months could make such a huge difference sales wise.

I include nov obviously.

I am not about to drive back to BB and whatnot just to get pictures that you will say are fake... Believe what you will if it makes you happy

So they are not selling like crazy today..... gotcha. Even in light of the video posted from Wal-Mart where people are diving for them, I see. Can't wait for this weeks numbers much less NPD heh.

You are just setting yourself up for disapointment. Sales will be very good, but the 360 is not the "it" item by any means this year. It is just now at the price where the typical "Madden" gamer will now pick one up. Umm also, I do not know if every walmart is selling them on the sales or not, but if so it is just one retailer who if it was such an amazing deal purposely limited stock(why would they want to sell their entire allottement of 360s on basically a give away.  Yes WW 360s sale should be 500-650k.... but that is nothing to get a hard on about.

Sales are expected to be above 600K next week which will be the best week the 360 has ever seen, I made a thread about this and ioi himself agreed.

You just sound bitter lol ... its ok I'm sure the PS3 will get a few consumers interested in amongst the crazy people falling over themselves for a 360 and a wii.

Yes I am bitter.... My favorite console the Wii is only outselling PS/360 combined... by less.. yes it hurts...

I even said it should sell 500-650k? I am just not that impressed, I kinda assumed when it reached a MM Pricepoint sales would be much better, the same thing will happen to the PS3 is it can stay relevant until then. Maybe I am just to used to the Wiis godly sales to truly appreciate what this week means for the 360.

I said you sound bitter, and you do. Even if you arnt ..

and maybe you are, so why even bother posting if you know that to be the case?

The 360 is flying of the shelves and just because it isn't happening in stores near you doesn't mean its not happening everywhere else. It clearly is ...

Bigjon no one said the 360 would outsale the Wii this week. And if your not really here for the subject at hand, why not start a thread about the wii. This thread is obviously for a HD game machine called the 360 ;), lets keep that in perspective

Hahahahaha. That is an extremely entertaining picture if the people get the joke.

bigjon has a point, the sales are really good, but it's not the hot XMAS item here in the US. One video doesn't change that.

I bothered to post because I went shopping today (like millions of other people) and everywhere I looked there were 360s, and all 3 skus I might add well stocked. I thought this was one of those threads when fanboys get all excited about whatever, and exaggerate the facts. The truth is, yea if a place has an awsome sale on something it will sell well or even out(if the sale is that good)... But that is not a sign of mega increased demand... It could just be all of the demand was funneled to certain retailers. Meaning in next weeks data WM could have 3x more sold in comparison to another retailer then their usual ratio. Like say Target has no deal but WM does... Normally the target sells 30 360s a week and the WM sell 40... well this week WM sells 80, but since all the sales went to WM target only sells 10... There is still a major net increase, but it is not a 100% increase across the board like WM had... it might be a 20% increase in overall sales.

So that was the 360 arcade bundle with sega superstar tennis and GH3 $199? Wow thats a gr8 deal. Y couldnt sony do something like that :P

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

^ I know, especially for just one day
