Forums - Microsoft - Is this a bad sign for GTAIV DLC?

Shame. I love the original Saturn pad. It's on a level pegging with the 360 pad for best ever in my opinion.

**Runs home to bust out Sega Rally with original Saturn pad**

That pad wasn't the original tho. The pad I have came out first in Japan and then seeing how forst Sony ps1 pad was all high tech looking (but utter crap) sega quickly made this design for USA and Europe. It had the exact same board but the shell was different. So you can technically get the Saturn ps2 pad and put it inside that saturn pad shell.

I bought GTA 4 from blockbuster for 24$ not bad for an average game.

Obviously not every person that bought GTA cares or even knows about the DLC. If it sold that many copies than its mostly mainstream gamers playing it that don't follow games on the internet.

But that is an awful lot of used copies. Whenever I go to EB they have tons of used games on 360, and PS2 but not as much on other consoles.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Speaking about pads, why couldn't MS license or buy Sega's dpad patents?

Also, GTA4 DLC will be huge.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

that would be sweet. Or Sega should still be making hardware themselves...controllers that is.

Would a Sega Saturn PC controller work with the 360? They are both USB.

No. I have one of those as well. It works on PS3 tho... 360 may get GTA DLC...but PS3 gets PC saturn pad. PS3 wins.

I sold mine a month ago. And will not get the DLC no matter how good it is... done with GTA.

However I also paid 150 dollars for a Sega Saturn gamepad that works on a ps2.

So I ain't your typical gamer.

Nice, best fighting pad ever. Have u seen the official Mad Catz (yes...I said Mad Catz) fightsticks and pads? They look so sweet, and I know Mad Catz is horrible, but the guy thats helping with the sticks and pads happens to be MarkMan (AKA Arcade stick junkie) so I have total faith in these pads and sticks.

I would get one of these if I wasn't getting one of these:

....The game has sold north of 4 million copies in America. There's bound to be tons of used copies out there.

When the DLC launches, the used copies will dry up periodically, and the DLC will move a decent bit of new GTAIV units.

Yeah... I mean at one time two weeks after launch all the gamestops by me had 20+ Assassains Creed games.

Hard to say... in the old days though you totally could.  The Sega controllers worked for the Atari i believe.
