Forums - Gaming - Dead space beats Left 4 dead in all ways!

I loved Dead Space, loved it.....but for replay value and fun factor L4D crushes it in many ways (IMO). Oh, and L4D drops to $50 on friday at Gamestop. Also, Valve has stated that additional chapters and weapons will be released as down-loadable content on Live and Steam, so L4D has additional room to grow........XD.

My opinion is that apples are better than oranges.

They look nicer

They taste nicer

They are even cheaper!

Just my opinion.

Id have to go for L4D is this matchup. I found Dead Space quite repetitive and flat out boring 4 hours in...so born infact I returned it a week early to blockbuster to rent mortal kombat vs DC...and am very happy with that decision.

Left 4 Dead is repetitive as well...but 10 hours in to the game I am still having a blast.

So you say MKvDC is even better than Dead space?

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that. MKvDC is probably coming my way for Christmas.

I've said it before and will say it again... MK vs DC is the best 3D mortal kombat game ever made. They took it back to basics and got rid of all the weapons/multiple styles...etc...

As far as dead space...if you've never played Resident evil 4, or you really like Alien and event horizon movies...and you think monsters jumping out at you in the exact same manner is scary and exciting for 8 hours, and you like to fight the same 4 types of creatures over and over, in the exact same looking corridors, and if you don't like to think where to go or do next but instead have the game always cleary tell you what to do...then i guess Dead Space is kickass as well.

A lot of gamers liked Dead Space tho...so I guess they answered to "Yes" to all the things i listed above.

@ bolded: I know I did :( I've been a space thriller game junkie since System Shock

Anyway I'm getting mighty pumped for MKvDC now
