It's a good game, but way overrated. It is glitchy, it has bad control, and the city feels empty.

GTA IV was a really boring game. There are better sand box games IMO that got lower review ratings than GTA IV, such as Crack Down and the two Saints Row games were more fun than GTA IV.

You people are crazy to say that GTA is buggy or the city feels empty. Bugs never gave me problems so far, controls are great and LC feels really alive, and it's impossible not to laugh at everything at that game, i love the radio, all the friends and everything else, i'm close to 100% now.

But then, i never played another sandbox than some GTAs on the ps2 and this one

GTAIV was a major downgrade from GTA SA imo

GTA IV was just boring in my opinion. I just couldn't get in the game. It was around the time when I was obessess with Halo 3. And I just didn't have the time to enjoy the game like I want.

I will purchase the game at a later date. The game is $30 used at Gamestop.lol
Talk about overrated. I plan on getting it.

I just think personally the formula is getting old and the game was just tooooo overrated. Rockstar and Microsoft were the ones touting it more-so and Sony was also. The sales are good but the game is just repeating the same thing it did from the previous incarnations.

GTA IV got rid many of the questionable design choices from previous games in the series.  Also, LC does feel alive.

Recycle content meaning drive here and do that, drive here and do that. Something new would totally make the franchise something special again.

The game in my opinion was boring. I didn't like the controls either. Also the game crashed my ps3 twice. Something that hasn't happened before so another big gripe.
