Hey, welcome back in the 90s!

This.

You're acting as if SE is Sonys best friend.

The market share of the 360 in america is very big, and the development is cheaper, they want the system to do well in Japan also, so they don't have to lose selling oportunities in japan when they develop something for the machine.

They wanna make money so let them. As long as PS3 is still getting the game it does not really affect any consumers.

SE needs to concentrate on making better games. IU and TLR are both below average games.

TLR is FAR from a below average game. Everyone I know seems to be baffled by the negativity around it. It's just that Unreal Engine + JRPG = no IMHO.

@badgenome, I don't know how to explain it but I don't get what they are doing.

Square's goal is to make money.  Sony wasn't helping Square because their sales were way too low.

Square warned Sony several times, even publically, that they were unhappy with the PS3's performance.  Can you blame them for switching to the winning side?  It's what Square does.

Yes, their CEO's seem out of their mind. There's really no explanation for the psychotich Wii hate and the growing ignoring of the PS3.

Things will end up pretty bad this gen for SE, bankrupcy is happening. With the announced cooking, travelling and wine games for the Wii and the upcoming DS port, expect no one else to take them seriously in Japan. Same with PS3 fans who were lied at and the spit at.

SE is stabbing PS3 owners in the back this gen, while at the same time taking a big, creamy dump on the Wii owners. At the same time, all their promised big games for the 360 ended up being total turds. Portables may be the way to go, but in the near future their games will hardly matter at all in the West. And in Japan with some recent RPG announcements, things could be turning upside down for them.

I wish they went bankrupt real fast, they deserve it after calling the customers "guilty" for the sinking industry. How do they even have the guts, when their games are simply terrible or mainly ports?

^^^ That guy's presence and demeanor really pisses me off. The way he carries himself makes you just want to punch him dead in the face.

Very annoying person.

Agreed.  He thinks that just because two of their games were disappointing(albeit not actually bad per se) and that are making a few casual games, that FFXIII and SO:TLH will also be disappointing.  I think review scores and player opinions for both of the games will prove him wrong(I certainly hope so).
