Forums - Gaming - The Superior Version Of A Multiplat. Game Thread! (Consoles Only)

@Kuro

No, I've not had any help yet... I took PoP back to the store as I had no time to play it... and I wanted some other games...

@all
I got RB2 recently, for my 360, any I would like some help on the PS360 comparison. The only potential things that I think could be done better on PS3 is if there is a steadier framerate, a lot less framerate drops (not the charts, but on mine, the characters and stages sometimes put on a little lag...), but I'd also like to know if the GH/RB instruments are actually bluetooth wireless like standard PS3 controllers this time around Not USB wireless dongles)

EDIT: Have any of the compatibilty problems been fixed (drums mainly) between RB/GW instruments on PS3?

EDIT2: Yeah, the Wii version has about 5% chance of being the best version of RB2... Probably less...

Um... I still have received no assistance when it comes to the comparison of RB2 on PS3/360... Also, I would like to put up GH:Metallica, but I only have the 360 version as of now... please help... This thread hasn't been updated in exactly 1 month...

ALSO, Prince of Persia and Street Fighter IV are still not compared... So, current list:

Rock Band 2
Guitar Hero: Metallica
Prince Of Persia
Street Fighter IV
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

I have MKvDC on PS3, GH:M on 360, and RB2 On 360... If you could help out this thread it would be greatly appreciated...

Oh wow, the new update to 2.0 seems to have messed with the structure of the chart on the front page...

It's still functional though, so I'll mess around with it in a littlew while when I have more free time...

I don't have any of those games, sorry. Though wouldn't it be better to focus on the main, 1M+ selling games?

Not for me. Could it be because I have my pages set to 100 posts, and/or no sigs?

@squilliam: Would you like to name some that I don't have listed yet? I'm trying to list as many games as possible...

Also, if anyone would like to tell me how to (or if it's possible) to make a chart like the ones on Wikipedia.org? The ones that you can re-organize and stuff, ya know? I'd like to re-do the chart... and make it be able to re-order by different things, like Alphabetic, Best Version, and date added... but if not, that'd be great too...

Probably Prototype is your next game to keep an eye on because its an open world type affair. Your typical sports games that come every year such as Madden etc and it would pay to only list games where significant enough differences are found. Seperate but equal or equivelent just isn't worth paying attention to IMO.

No, I just tried that and the chart still looks the same...

It makes it take a long ass time to load though...

@squilliam:

Yeah, I'll be watching prototype along with FFXIII, Assassin's Creed 2 and the other big games yet to be released... Until then, I'm trying to catch up on what I've been unable to cover so far...

I hope you know of the frame-rate comparisons at digitalfoundry and the resolution lists on beyond3d right?
