FPSrules said: i agree, the online fees is MS way of ripping us off. MS makes millions advertising on the dashboard, everywhere you go on the dashboard there is a advertisement, both related and unrealated to games. while both the wii and ps3 don't have these, and both online services are free of charge. so why does MS charge for online play and video chat if they make more than enough money advertising.
this is one of the reason i consider not renewing my gold suscription in march and i just stick to playing the wii and ps3, fuk M$, always looking for a way to get in our pockets |
I agrew with this. $99 for a wireless adapter, when you can get an arcade Xbox 360 for $200. There is definitely something wrong with that picture. If MS can monopolize, which will be difficult for them, I can really see them raising accessory and online charges higher.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
