that's stupid to say now,,if sony drops the price to 299 and still stays clsoe to 360 then yes ,,,i will agree that PS brand is fading,,,

but as it stands now PS3 is the most expensive gaming console in the hisotry(given that's 2 yeasr old and has  price tag of $400 and $500 ),,so there are limited number of poeple that are willing to drop half a grand on a gaming console ,hence lower sales(stilkl very good but lower than competitoin for the last 2 months or so)

Nintendo or Microsoft.

The Wii is the Mass Market Beast.

The 360 is the new PS2, the Hardcore console.

when PS2 was $199(same price as the 360) the user base was at 80 million rather than 22.8 million,,,so i don't see howyou compare the popularity of 360 to PS2

Most of us were already knew that Xbox 360 is the winner of this gen.
