If Sony wanted to sell you a PS3 for $250, they would.

Do not buy anything with credit cards unless you really must do it. It's better to save few more months and buy when you can afford it than go into never ending spiral of debt becouse you buy more than you can afford.

Sad. A lot of college kids are going to apply for this credit card to save a measly $150 on a PS3, and wind up paying $30,000 - $40,000 more for their home ten years from now because they find themselves having to take an 8% interest rate on their mortgage since they've got bad credit.

You only have one credit score folks, and it's with you for life. Do not take shots in the dark at veiled rewards deals like this. It will cost you more money than you can possibly know down the line. If you need a rewards Visa to take $150 off the price of a PS3, which is ONLY $399 to begin with, you couldn't afford one in the first place.

This is a very good deal, sadly im sure 99.9% of the population on earth wont know a thing about it.

Funny thing.

World population: 6,720M

PS3 owners: 17.04M

This means that 99.7% of the population on earth does not have a PS3.

Lol @ anyone that follows Leo's advice :D

If this were legit, it could actually flip things around and make the Wii the most expensive console since it is fairly difficult to get one for that price. Talk about the world turned upside down. LOL

Funny thing is it would still sell more than PS3+X360 combined :D

Is this legit? How do you know its not a fake page/scam? I have $100-$315 or so saved up, I am not sure. I might buy this. I want a Blu Ray player, and I really want Little Big Planet. I just wish my family wasn't getting so pounded by this recession. How old do you have to be to take out a credit card?

it came from the official u.s playstation blog.

Does this epitomise Sony's decision making this generation?

Good lord people. There is nothing wrong with doing this if you are responsible and willing to immediately pay off the credit card. You can then a) cancel it (and take the very minor hit to your credit) or b) pay it off and just let it sit there for a few years.

I hate credit cards, got into trouble with a few in college. But if you are responsible, you can pull this off and it might even help your credit. Buy it and pay it off and hide the credit card.

DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS CARD.

It may well stack up as one of the worst deals I've ever seen.
