Forums - Sony - New playstation credit card= PS3 for $249.99

You can always just get the credit card, buy the ps3 and get 150 off, and then just pay the due, and cancel the credit card.

Don't give advice like this unless you are 100% certain. There are often things in the fine print that disallow this.

In addition, whenever you apply and accept a new credit card it reduces your credit score.

As does canceling a card that hasn't been active for at least three years.

Last Finished: BulletStorm

It has one APR for purchases, another for cash advances, and yet another for balance transfers. See some of the fine print here:

You seem kind of desperate in your attempt to convince people to buy a PS3.

Is this legit? How do you know its not a fake page/scam? I have $100-$315 or so saved up, I am not sure. I might buy this. I want a Blu Ray player, and I really want Little Big Planet. I just wish my family wasn't getting so pounded by this recession. How old do you have to be to take out a credit card?

Also, what are "sony retailers"? Is that anywhere Sony products are sold? I have a $50 best buy gift certificate... so does that mean I can apply for this card since I am 18, get the card, go to best buy, use my credit card+ gift card, get the system, get a $200 bill next month, and then use some of my personal savings (money I have alloted to spending) to pay off the debt, without paying interest? Then I can let the card sit, and use it to buy gas to build my credit rating?

Not just him but Sony too.

I'll come up with something better eventually...

Dude I'll give you common sense advice.

Do not buy anything with credit cards unless you really must do it. It's better to save few more months and buy when you can afford it than go into never ending spiral of debt becouse you buy more than you can afford.

If only America followed this we wouldn't even be speaking about resession and world crissis now.
