Yeah, it is probably worth just getting a 3 month trial and giving it a go

Personally, I decided to get a 3-month card so that I can give Gears 2 and Fable 2 a go online, and I don't really see what all the fuss is about. Being able to send messages from my computer is a big bonus as I message my friend all the time and being able to download demos earlier is also really useful. If you have a PS3, and your friends aren't focused on XBL, I don't think it is really worth getting it permanently

Its really only my brother with a PS3, I don't actually personally know anyone with a next gen system. Not even a Wii!

Well, that's the problem with NZ, if you don't herd sheep, you're pretty much fucked if you want to be able to afford anything more than sheep milk.

Only the poor drink sheep milk. The middle classes drink Goats milk, obviously!

Tease.

^So who drinks the human milk...

-=Dew the disco dancing fo da Unco Graham=-

80% + of xbox live arcade games have online multiplayer

360 has more games with online multiplayer than the wii and ps3 combined

i will happily continue to pay for xbl simply due to the sheer number of games that offer online

i would be lost without my occasional dose of virtua tennis 3 online

or my smackdown vs raw 07, duke nukem 3D and ultimate mortal kombat 3 online sessions

more videos, more demos, more online games, more EVERYTHING

Bottom line________________

its 100% worth it paying for online, theres somthing for everyone

even PDC world championship darts has online multiplayer on 360 lol

Well.. I can attest that it is worth it, I mean, I going to get the xbox live vision camera bundle (13 months + camera, headset, and 200 ms points)

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Are 3-month cards an option where you live? If you're looking to just try XBOX Live you can save so money by getting a smaller package.
