Forums - Gaming - 3 magic words "NO MORE RROD" will you get a 360?

i was wondering who here is still waiting for that moment to move onto to the xbox experience and see how much it differs from ps3 when those magic words are announced and your investment is not at risk. I personally might get the xbox 360 bundle on my previous thread with gears 2 for free but the only doubt in my mind is rrod and how much i would get pissed after spending about the same as my ps3 and seeing it die before my ps3. so what about you guys?

That's actually six words...

Damn Hyams beat me to it. lol

Don't Worry.....Be Happy

I'll post this again......the newer models are doing extremely well. Older models still have there issues as they arise, but all and all, RROD is becoming old news. Several of my friends are picking up the Arcade $200 bundles and sending in for the 20g HD with Live Gold card for like $20 bucks....not to shabby. Honestly, this holiday is the time to pick up a 360!

I'll definitely get one when there's no more RROD. Until then, I'll stick to my PS2 and PSP.

You do realize that you get a three year warranty correct? If your console lasts three years, you more than likely have a keeper.

@ Twestern What if it fails 3years and 1 hour after purchase .

huh ?

HUH ?!?!

They don't go by hours, they go by days.

And what if your PS3 gets stolen but you have no way to prove it?  huh huh lol.

It's just a risk you take.  I'm really not too worried about it.

no, if they had proved that it was sorted before i brought my PS3 , maybe i would be on a 360 now. As it is, MS have claimed that the problem was solved twice when it subsequently turned out to not be true which made me doubt whether the problem will ever be truly solved.

assumption is the mother of all f**k ups
