I think the rumors of a March price drop could be true. Every time I have heard of a 360 price drop on VGChartz, it came true.

Thats true but only part of the equilibrium. Price/Cost barrier, economic downturn, tough competition from MS and unexpected move from Wii are all a burden on Sony's strategy now.

That's what companies always say about rumours. If they are indeed planning a price cut (I don't think it's very likely), they wouldn't say so since that would decrease their sales until March.
