20 dollar cut on the core? 30 dollars on the elite?????
So the Elite went from being 20 dollars cheaper than a PS3 to 50 dollars cheaper... and the core remains more expensive than a Wii...

It isnt a very good price drop ,but it will help something I guess ....
They have put the "big" 50$ effort on the Premium that constitut the main sales SKU.

Why do they even have 3 SKUs? They should have just let people replace the hard drive, then there would be no point for the elite. HDMI is such a minor reason to make a whole new SKU. Just kill the core system, it's even more pointless now that the price difference is 70$ and you have to pay for a memory card. Nobody is falling for it MS, just drop it.

I agree with you and I think it's what they are going to do when the flacon is out... drop the core and put the premium and elite like the core and premium use to be or something close..... the price drop being to start getting rid faster of that generation.... wait and see but I almost can smell it lol
