one side of me expects Obama to cure all illness in the world, bring peace to the world, do my laundry

the other side of me expects Obama to make america and the world in to socialist commies, make Jeremiah wright his press Secretary, bill iyer in homeland security, and make iran america's new No.1 friend.

last time I checked he was a typical politician, so nothing good.

A phased withdrawal from Iraq. That is really the main reason I've been supporting him for president since 2006. He was the only major candidate of either party who has consistently opposed this pointless war -- which degrades the U.S, Britian etc. as much as it degrades Iraq. This war is ruining the economy and has made the US the laughingstock of the world.

Another thing I expect from Obama is to support Congress in ending discrimination against gay people in the workplace, along with other items in place that treat gays like second-class citizens (Don't ask, Don't Tell... Defense of Marriage Act etc.)

There are a million other things but those are my two major issues.
