john mccain was born in the panama canal, i bet if he was president no one would say a thing. so why should ppl bother obama

no i have nothing aganist mccain, i actually admire his honestly and how he isn't afraid to defend his opinions, even if it goes aganist the majority, thats a true politican

We already know that John McCain was born in Panama.  We are talking about Obama here, who everybody with a lick of sense knows was born in Hawaii.

Considering the guy who filed the lawsuit is a democrat i'm not sure i agree.

Because if you wanted to work for him, he would require it. He wants your school records, all papers you ever wrote. Hell, he even wants to see your diary if you have one. These are all requirements to work in Obama's cabinet.

So I think he should he held to the same standard he sets for his employees.

Let me rephrase. My employees (Obama), should be held to the same standard that he requires his employees held to.

Well while i do think he was born in Hawaii i do agree with that.

I mean I need to prove i'm a US citizen and qualfied for my job and it ain't nearly as important as president.

I mean they ask if your qualified to work the job in the United States and you have to say yes or no, and give some proof via a visa number or SS number.

You need a Birth Certificate to get a passport.

Seems like it'd make sense if you had to show your full birth certificate to be president.

He's shown the same documents you have had to show. The document is considered what's needed to prove citizenship and your identity. Just because someone else decides they want more does not mean that it is not the legal standard that has been shown.

When?  All i saw is someone got a leaked copy of his birth certificate that was saved in a computer program.  Unless i missed something.

I know when i show proof of my birth certificate it can't be scanned copy or anything, it has to come straight from the state's records with one of those seals indented on the bottom right hand corner.

The state of Hawii says it exists, factcheck.org says they have seen it in person, and have photos of it them holding it. Unless everyone is lying and it is a big conspiracy, which is VERY unlikely he has it. And, you know he has had to use it in the past to get stuff like driver's license.

What exactly does the state of Hawaii say exists?
The short form birth certificate that no one cares about, or the long form that people are going to court to force Obama to turn over?
