Forums - General - what does "individual selection" mean (university)

so, I'm trying to get into this university program and it says "based on individual selection"

what does that mean? also, does it mean that that program is more difficult to get into?

Around the Network

I think it means thiers no criteria to be met only your experience.

But I could be WAY off

what are you applying in?

well, it says "mid-80's" and it also says right after that "based on individual selection"

it's a first year program, Mathematics/Business Administration, and I'm applying from gr.12

does it mean that they look at other stuff as well? Like your extracurricular?

then it prolly means they look at your grades and then will decided based on your extracuriculars.

PS: go into advertising like i did, its fun :)
girls, money, girls, and all you do is think all day.

lmao, wtf

unfortunetly, there's no advertising program, maybe it's like a major or something?
