Well I saw my first ever (yes, ever) PS3 add yesterday, a Motorstorm Pacific Rift add.
It's the only gaming based add I've ever seen on my local TV service, besides Brain Training. I've yet to see a 360 onewhere I am yet.

Wow you must watch even less TV than me.

The X360 adverts where it shows someones face (in a kind of slow motion laugh/smile) then pans around their head to the back where they have a mini theatre in their head have been running on most channels and quite a few times a day I presume.

Also most big games here (GHIV or PES as an example) have adverts that only give the X360 as a console at the end, despite being on other consoles.

Theres a HUGE HD-TV down oxford street in london near the HMV thats plugging mirrors edge and at the end of the commercial theres the playstation 3 logo, Now this is in a shop window so the exposure it is getting is massive.

Afterall, how many millions of people pass through oxford street each week/month?

Haha! anything is possible I suppose!

It's just that the country I'm working in has little  to watch in the way of TV, so to see any kind of gaming advert is quite an event, and it's good to see these companies start taking a better interest in this market. The potential does exist here for pretty reasonable sales. nothing that would ever make the charts though, but every penny counts after all.

In the Uk all big 3 are all over the commercial breaks. I think 360 is pushing the hardest, Sony also does a lot.

But i think Nintendo is a winner there as well, got quite a few famous people, groups to advertise both the DS and the Wii as a family friendly product.

Tanzania. No snow for me this Christmas, especially not with +35deg. C temperatures :(

Lol, funny a thread like this should pop up, i just seen a Valkyria chronicles and MotorStorm PR Ad back to back, i mean it BACK to BACK lol wtf?!

Also the LBP Ad and R2 Ad's pop up nearly on all chans sept Disney and Nick. LOL!
