Hey all. I have a co worker who is a mother buying a 360 for her son this Christmas. She'd like to buy him a Pro. However, she's worried about price because times are tough.

Therefore, I'm trying to help her by finding the best deal possible -- and that's where you come in. Help me find great sales! I assume there will be some bundles on black friday, for example. If you can find good deals/sales/bundles on the 360, let me know. I'm keeping an eye out.

I'll love any person who helps this kid get a 360. And I mean love love.

You can get a 20GB hard drive for like twenty bucks through Microsoft when you buy an Arcade, I believe.

some of the deals for black friday are giving away the 20gb hard drive, Circuit City if you check out the cheapassgamer, but if you can get a 300 dollar pro with 60gb and 2-4games, or a 20gb arcade with no games, go with the pro

I *think* that new Arcades come with 512M memory cards, which is enough for the NXE, therefore, no 20GB hard-drive available.  I have an elite so I'm not sure about this, but am pretty sure I read that somewhere.   I'd verify before you send her on her way with the Arcade (if she is set on one with a harddrive).

I also think kotaku has a "360 Gift Guide" which might have some deals shown...
