I have noticed that vgchartz posts all the consoles sales number except the PC.Why is that?

Whilst we're on the topic of asking too much from the VGChartz team

It'd mean alot to me if you could track the sales of Linux games

SSJ is correct, for the following reasons:

1) An hugely disproportionate amount of PC sales are online. Valve recently stated that half of Orange Box's PC sales were through Steam. Some enormously succesful games like Bejeweled can't even be purchased in the store. Since we can't track online sales in the same way, that's a problem.

2) Many other sources don't track PC sales. Because we use sources like NPD, Media Create and Chart Track to correct our figures if need be, this is a problem.
