I would like to see how you rate games. I use a 0 to 99 scale. As follows:

90 to 99 = Excellent. Must buys

80 to 89 = Very Good. Buy later

70 to 79 = Good.  Rent first then maybe buy

60 to 69 = Above Average. Rent only.

50 to 59 = Average. Not worth my time.

0 to 49 =  Terrible game. Avoid like the plague.

*Note: No game ever gets 100% in my rating system.

Please post your rating system and show the levels. Maybe you use a 5 star system, a 1 to 10, etc.

100-Amazing(Must Buy)
90 to 99-Excellent(Must Buy)
80 to 89-Great(Buy if you like genre)
70 to 79-Decent(Rent then buy if you like genre)
60 to 69-Above Average(Rent if you like genre)
50 to 59-Average/Mediocre(Meh-not bad but not good)
0 to 49-Bad(please avoid at all costs)

I don't use a scale. Assigning absolute values to complex opinions seems an arbitrarily limiting practice.

I think a thumbs up / thumbs down system would work best, if someone put a gun to my head.
