Seriously it's endless fun, if you like smashing tons and tons and tons of zombies then go for it.

One of the best parts of the game is when you grab a cooking pan, heat it up till it gets red hot, then hit zombies with it and burn their faces off.

I would, with out a doubt, repay $59.99 for Dead Rising. $9.99 is a steal

It's one of my favorite 360 games. I've never gotten past the first day because I keep starting over (one day I will finish the game) but it's just killing zombies. There are other parts to it and annoying things like twats that ride around in a jeep and kill you or rescuing people, but it's just killing zombies (which is a lot of fun).

 Is there a purpose to the game or is it the same thing over and over again?

Survive until a helicopter picks you up, rescue people.  Might be others but I never get past the first day before restarting.

Dead Rising is, in a word, awesome. Getting it at $10 is an absolute steal.

There is a story and purpose to the game, with a variety of "missions" that need to be completed in order to progress. Of course, you don't HAVE to do the missions, you can just piss around killing zombies with electric guitars and lawn mowers. It's one of the most entertaining single-player 360 games out there.

Killing Zombies > most other things except having sex

Its $10 bucks almost as cheap as renting so how could you go wrong? I am going to pick up another copy for my sister.
