It would make much more sense for Sony to drop the price in April just before the summer slowdown. Doing it before Christmas would be needless as sales would pick up for the holidays anyway.

PS3 should drop its price next year and sales will pick up dramatically. PS3 at $300 sounds like a good price to me.

no way ps3 doing price cut right now they understand, as soon as they doing price cut MS will doing the same, also MS has a lot of room for cutting cost.

also look at these way

Several month prior to MS cut, we see scan of ad flyer

this time some one posted on forum and suddenly becomes a truth

as sony CFO said:

"Sony: Poor PS3 sales mean less financial loss"

they know they can not get profit from ps3
