Banjo should still do well in the long haul. I know many people that love the demo and will buy it but they wont until they've got gears, fable and fallout out of their systems. It'll probably be bundled anyway.

Any word on L4D numbers? Very curious about this title.

ioi's retailer First Day numbers conflicts with what I'm seeing, but the game is (I assume) going to be very online skewed.

It looks like L4D is going to debut anywhere between 250,000-400,000 depending on the skewed online base.

What's ioi coming up with, in contrast to your 250-400k?

50-100k first day, NA only.
