Ill throw the heat up for the Sony fanboys: Wii has had a great start. And PS3 didn't, as we all might agree! Now PS3 fans are all eager awaiting Gundam to save PS3 sales in Japan... But i think Nintendo will ship like 100.000 Wii's to prevent the PS3 from harvesting to much sales increase. And with the release of Fire emblem, Naruto and Sonic. In Think PS3 sales will be only around 35k. Also, Sony is saying. Microsoft should be worried its being outsold by PS2. Yes, but PS2 is on the end of its lifecycle and won't be streched much longer. However, Sony should be worried cause PS3 is also outsold by PS2. And PS3 is their future. Also X360 is outselling PS3... So look at ur own next-gen device before bashing Microsoft's. And then there are people who are like: PS1 & PS2 sold more then 100 milion so PS3 will too. LOL,... Think again, why didn't N64 sell as good as Snes or possibly Nes? Because its another device!... Market changes, and demand shifts!... Sony is just to egocentric to see that they are bringing emselves in a very VERY harsh position by trusting on achievements made in the past. (There's a Dutch saying: 'In het verleden behaalde resultaten bieden geen garantie voor de toekomst') In English: 'Achievents made in the past DO NOT garantuee succes for the future'. I guess this line goes very well with Sony nowadays. And also: PSP isn't doing to good either is it?! DS is whoopin its ass in Japan with a ratio of 5:1. In Europe, Nintendogs alone has sold more then 5 million copies, not the bad either, is it?! Also, DS is harvesting massive 3th party support and DS outsold PSP in Januari in America still while it wasn't available during the first half of the month. DS total sales: around 41 million. (This guy is ramping up, and still having momentum) PSP total sales: Around 22 million. (This downgraded PS2 however, is slowing down). And remember: Only bring good arguments and don't start giving someone bad names or call him a little boy when he makes one mistake in grammar. Keep it real!....

As a Nintendo Fan I must say that your post will open the gates to hell and we will be flodded with massives attack from the sony fans. I actuly think you was a bit harsch on the poor bastards. First, yes PS3 is not selling as good as it should do in Japan. Gundam might save PS3 for a short run, but I don't know if it will keep the system going for the upcoming months. (how many millions are we talking about in sales normaly? I do hope that we are talking about a million seller outherwise the PS3 is in real problem) Second, yes DS is selling a lot more than PSP but I actuly think that Sony should be able to use the 20 million sale base for making some money. Thired: PS2 will continue to sell well through 2007. So don't count out Sony yet, but they will most probarbly need to fight a upphill battle during 2007 for PS3.

Wii strategy (same strategy used by NES, SNES, Playstation, and PS2) 1) Sell more consoles in 6 months than your competition sells in a year 2) Use sale to attract exclusive 3rd party development for second year 3) Use 3rd party development to attract more gamers increasing profit 4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 5) Profit People always said the N64 was going to sell more than the Playstation later in its life because of its better hardware; it didn't happen. People always said the XBox and Gamecube would sell more than the PS2 later in their life because of their better hardwar; it didn't happen. The PS3 will (likely) hit the important $200 price point in 2010 or 2011 which will be a great opportunity for Nintendo to release a system that is (roughly) 5 to 10 times as powerful as the PS3, with an advanced Wiimote, for $200 ... Edit: CrazzyMan, many of those games you have listed have games already announced for the XBox 360 and Wii and very few are ensured to be exclusives (being that most of the games are developed by third parties)

you want many - 50%? or all 100% of these titles? p.s. sony already has it`s eye toy, and has a patent for some stuff which could be used like wii mote. btw, M$ recently has also something like this anounced. :) p.p.s. name some titles on GC/NDS/Wii except games from square/enix, which had reached more than 1 mln. copies. only games from nintendo selling well, so 3rd parties only 50k-100k, will it be enough for them...
