So my 360 broke down =(! And i havent even played gears 2 yet its so danm depressing just staring at it now its with a one ring.....not 3 red rings so i have to repair it. It would cost around 140 bucks to send it into microsoft. However i know ill just get a refurbished unit and ill have to wait like 2 to 3 weeks. Also all they throw onto it is a 90 day warranty.

Or i could buy a used 360 down at a store and to add a 15 month warranty it would all come down to about 230 bucks but it also comes with a controler and i could possibly sell my broken one for some cash.

Or should i just buy a arcade and throw my harddrive into it. That would cost around 210 and i believe it comes with a warranty. It would also come with a controler and other things. However im afraid i might be forgetting something if i buy a arcade like it is not compatable with something etc. I could also sell my 360 for cash here as well.

If anyone has some advice it would be great and if anyone knows info about if i can just throw on the harddrive onto the arcade and the warranty on it that would be great.

isnt the full red ring something to do with connection to the tv, have you tried a different cable?

yes i have. I tried removing all cables and harddrive etc and then replugging and trying and all that.
I also tried different cables. I used a neighbors cables and it did the same thing.

id probably get an new arcade if i were in your situation

Get an Arcade and throw your old hard drive on it. You'll get a fresh 3 year RROD warranty and all the extra accessories along with Sega Sports Tennis. Cool game. n_n

What exactly is wrong with it?

My old Arade still works, but the DVD drive is dead. I can still replace my DVD drive by myself, if I want to go through the trouble. Maybe use it as a homebrew machine.

And I also have Gears of War 2, Collectors Edition, sitting there, alone... I haven't played the game...

But lucky me... my system is still under warranty. I just sent my system in the mail a couple hours ago...
