...Horde mode sounds most hardcore. Worth a purchase by itself, even.
So shall it be!

That was by far the coolest thing in the first Gears, I LOLed really badly the first time the credits roled
How can you possibly misspell QWERTY? It's spelled correctly on the damn keyboard.
Man.... 2 Maps..... Dude, learn how to play the games you are buying and navigate accordingly. There are 15 online mp maps including the "FIVE" FREE ones you get with the game and there are about 7-8 different gameplay modes.
Elimination- which includes Execution, Warzone and Guardian
Horde- You already know
Territories- King of the Hill, Submission, and Guardian
Player's Choice- All modes
Flashback Player's Choice- All modes
I'm not in front of my game so there may be a couple of other modes I am not remembering. All in all, this game has hours upon hours of gameplay, the campaign and online are both awesome. There will be a couple of patches for minor technical upgrades I imagine but every game has those. This is by far the GOTY there need be no discussion, just hand out the hardware.

Horde is so awesome it will rip your face off. Seriously, I can't believe it hasn't been done before. |

Granted i did the game on the low setting but got into it and really liked it. The online side of GOW2 is a little shallow. It was ok a few times but not somthing I would really continue to play on live. |
Despite the "great" and "ok" you put in your post, you're substantially burying it...
You know, it was those "justs" and "buts" that dug the grave...
Did you study as a lawyer or maybe you were very good at philosophy?
Horde is awesome...especially when you get some buddies together and are communicating well. I love it. Multi-player is the Shizzznite.....I love this game.
I beat it this weekend with a buddy of mine, online on normal but know the real fun starts going through again with 4 firends on INSANE. The we have horde to tackle and finally online to see how we can do. MANY HOURS OF FUN still left for Gears 2
PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.
Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game
Xbox live:mywiferocks
Ill play it some more. Like I said I didnt get to deep in the online play. I will definatley try the Horde. And if it really has co-op online play through the game that would be even better. I enjoy co-op online but hate split screen co-op.
Albion - Its Fun as Ballz !!!!!
