Still can't believe so many people found MGS3 ending amazing. I remember I had to turn off my PS2 to go lunch and seriously, never felt I lost something amazing. But oh well, everybody has its tastes...

Also, all Nes games were disqualified from the "Most Powerful Moments" list. Anyone who played games in the 80's know that all of it's games would dominate the list. Heck, their motto was "Now You're Playing With Power!" Hardly seems fair to the other consoles, huh?

One of my favorite scenes is in FFVI in the World of Ruins when you´re playing with Celes. The first time I played it, Cid died. I remember feeling really really sad and crying because of it. There´s others, the Opera scene, Cyan´s family, Terra´s parents, Locke and Rachel, etc.

Another scene that moved me is from Suikoden II, when you and your sister Nanami escape because stayed behind to stall them and the scene is Nanami and you (and the little girl I forgot the name) waiting for him at then entrance of the city. It was a long, quiet scene and I felt all the anxiouness and fear that the characters were feeling.

In FFIV, Palom and Porom. Ah, so many amazing memories. :D

Nice read. Fall of Zeal in CT would probably be higher in my list. Funny thing, I like Aerith`s death and all, but there are a lot of FFVII scenes that I thought were just as good, if not better. Like when Weapon attacks Midgar and "kills" Rufus... or when Sephiroth finaly summons Meteor and Tifa and Barret look out the window... or Jenova`s eye-boob...

my top ten (no specific order)

Symphony of the night: Death comes, asks alucard to sease his attack, alucard refuse, then death makes his life a living hell by removing all of the high level equipments (i was shocked when that happened)

Devil may cry 1: The first time Dante gets stabbed by alastore, Gorgrous

FF VIII: A boss fight against Seifer occures, then suddeny Odin arrives (and you say, thank god i'm saved) then attacks seifer with his Zentatsuken, and you're all relaxed cause the battle had ended, but WTF??? Seifer counters with his own move and not only he defeated Odin, but he destroyed him for good !!!

Silemt hill 3: When you realise that Heather is Sheryl at the end, Epic

FFX: when yuna wasnt able to touch Tidus at the end, sad :(

FFX: the lake Movie between Yuna and Tidus, most romantic scene ever (in both games and movies)

Shadow of the colossus: we've all seen the pictures, we've all read the reviews and previews, we've all watched the trailers, but facing the first colossus for the first time with a controler in hand is an experience not to be missed

Shadow of the colossus: the scene where Agro fell from the bridge, i mean, never in a game i felt sorry for an animal, but it turns out that agro was more than an animal, he was you only companion, powerful and sad scene

MGS4: The first time you see the shadow moses base and that kick ass song "the best is yet to come" plays, i mean this is the most nostalgic and powerful scene in all of gaming to me, i felt that im the one who's returning the the base , not Snake,,, then i see the survaillance cam felling, and i said to myself (well its been a while, i missed this place),,,, KOJIMA IS GREATER THAN GREAT

FF 7: Aerith scene.

Aeris' death should be number one on the list. I have not finished Lost Oddyssey yet but thanks for ruining it guys :D

^^^I'm especially fond of ALL of the Final Fantasy scenes you named. I couldn't remember much of the Seifer dialog from FF VIII, but it was definitely good stuff. I really want to play Shadow of the Colossus. I watched a youtube video of it a while back, and I was in awe. Don't know how I missed buying that game when it was released. It was nominated for several G.O.T.Y. awards! I'm usually into that kind of game. It's on my "must play" list, now.
