I and my wife have been on board since the very beginning.  Overall, I think it has been a good ride.  There have been some bumps here and there with episodes coming from who knows where.  The cast seems pretty solid to me and they always get some corny superman references in there to make me laugh.  Just wandering if there are any other fans out there, or maybe you just hate the show. . . thoughts?

I used to like it. Season 3 was the best for me. But then... well... meh...

I liked until, until they did that crazy shit with the witches. All down hill from there.

I hate superman with a passion but smallville awesome so many good looking girls in one show great stuff

I tried to like it but the show just tried so hard (and succeeded) to make me hate it.

This is the formula for the show:

1. Random person finds kryptonite or lives near kryptonite
2. Random person gets super power
3. Random person abuses super power
4. Clark stumbles upon them
5. Clark gets weak from Kryptonite
6. Clark finds steel to block the radiation
7. Clark beats them or they destroy themselves
   
8. The show moves onto the next week

It might have moved beyond that since the first season but the first season made me absolutely loathe the show so I'm not watching it again.

Yeah I'vw watched quite a bit, but can never watch it weekly, for reasons twesterm as shown above, sometimes it's just too samey.

And sorry to you Superman fans in general, but Superman is just so damn lame. The problem with having such an amazingly strong character with only one weakness is that he has only one weakness.

It's really hard to add variety there.
