This is so so true. The amount of enemies upped onscreen isnt just 2 or 3. It's a genuine WTF fest. Holy shit fest. Quick shoot the bastard fest. The engine itself actually doesnt feel as familiar as you would expect it to. Your first really impressive moment is riding the landing vehicles. That level is truly awesome. I cannot stress enough at any point how good the texture detail is in EVERYTHING. So much going on in this level it's the first time I have been truly wowed. The caverns. Oh I wanted to say that. Was it worth. Every minute. The moment you step out into the cavern, It is hard to believe that there is alot of CGI cutscenes in games that get blown away by this gameplay graphics here. Also people mention the Uncharted jeans getting wet going through water and that. Without giving story away, there is a part where the delta squad go through blood. Whats amazing is how the blood starts to cover the bodies of the characters, I cannot stress how god this looks. It's by far and away the best effect Ive seen in a game. All in the end, This game is easily (not even at a struggle) a big step above the current competiton. Best console graphics to date. Thankyou Epic. |
I have just started the second level and already this game is brilliant.
Gameplay' audio' controls' graphics'are all top notch.
Got killed in second level no spoilers for anyone just enjoy is all I can say.
