I have the game currently. I played a small bit of it, probably about 2 hours in. And I'm kinda turned off on the recruiting part. It's kinda annoying how I was expecting for this game to play like the PS2 counterparts. It just feels more like how Crisis Core was where the missions was highly repetitive in that game and this recruiting thing is similar in a way.

Did anyone enjoy it or completed it?

ya i beat it twice its by far the best game on psp other than god of war

I would say Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and God of War: Chains of Olympus are the best PSP games. Although I haven't played God of War: Chains of Olympus yet. I know its kick ass.

You beat it twice though? Is there a way around the recruit system or do you have to use it?

I beat it a lot of times, and yes is one of the best games of the PSP. The history is good even if you don't like the online part.

And i think you dont even need to recruit anyone else apart from Johnatan, in the third mission.

Yeah you don't have to recruit many guys. The story is worth it.

Like jacezo I beat it a couple times. It had great boss fights and a fantastic story, a top notch PSP game in my opinion.

you can use codes to get the bettr characters which makes the game so much more fun and u dont have to go through the hassle of recruitn

No, didn't finish it. I am not its intended audience though, I hated the story and found the game poorly suited for play as a portable game.

beat it once, it was very good. I tried to make as many missions as I could on the first run, but many of them didn't interest me. The story was good, but nothing I would consider too relevant to the whole MG saga.
