This all boils down to a "to each his own" category once again. This whole flame battle started because people were complaining about originality. When, in the end, it doesnt really matter and nobody -actually- ripped off anyone.
If we used the poster who said "Wow, How original" and his logic then lets go ahead and run down the line.
Zomg! Sony made a gaming console when we all know Nintendo was around before them. How original!
Zomg! Microsoft made a gaming system like the Playstation that would play disc read media. How Original!
Zomg! Nintendo made a gaming hand-held that used a stylus and touch screen just like the palm pilots and personal PDA's that came before it. How original!
Zomg! the Xbox, PS2, PS3, 360, Wii, Gamecube, N64, etc etc etc used analog controller sticks like the arcade games of old before them. How original!
Zomg! It's a home console system that lets you play arcade games at your house! thats just a ripoff of the MAGNAVOX ODYSSEY FROM 1972, HOW ORIGINAL.
Using absurdity to prove a point. It doesn't matter if Sony makes a bowling game that takes advantage of the sixaxis technology. Just because Nintendo made a bowling game with their motion technology does that mean that Sony cant make a bowling game with their own? Does Nintendo now own the market of motion based bowling? I would think not.
This doesn't mean that Nintendo's product isnt BETTER, but thats not how your judging the product. Your basing your assumption of nothing other than your own blind fandom. Instead of grading the game based upon it's own merits (which are unknown since it isnt released yet) you have all mangled up the forums in yet another pointless argument on who is more original.
Especially since all innovation and originality can more or less be traced back to the arcade and quarter dropping era.
