You do realize Blankets comes before The Dark Knight Returns on both lists right? Rightfully so also.

Also, Time's list only includes novel length works. Sandman is too long to be on the list.

As a person who loves books, i was far more impressed when i read Sandman than any other graphic novel. But DKR makes its mark in a different way, and given its popularity, im sure im not the only one. Consider me someone who is a sucker for drama( my favorite parts from Sandman are the interactions between the Endless, and that conversation with Lucifer when he does you know what)

Also, i know its fairly recent, but All-stars Superman has become my favorite Superman story.

I'd have to go VC but i haven't played em all.

Still it's so far had one of the best stories of a game i've played period.

It is okay to like Stephen King. I'm a fan! The Dark Tower is one of my favorite stories.

A majority JRPG stories aren't that good. They suffer from stereotypical characters, trite cliches, and some suffer from plot holes. Metal Gear Solid's(the series) story is better than most(if not all) JRPG stories.

The Dark Knight Returns is not pulp. The Dark Knight Returns is the kind of epic, poetic masterpiece that makes you want to stand up to the bad guys and bad policies in the world and accomplish something epic and poetic like getting Barak Obama elected as the President of the United States.

My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
